I feel so honored to be documenting Baby #2 for the Patterson family. They’re one of my first customers in my adventure as a working photographer, when Holly was pregnant with her first baby girl, the very cute Miss B.

Baby S arrived much as her sister B did, via a water birth at home. Baby S was two weeks late and was content to stay in there but mommy was determined to have her ten days ago on March 19 2011.

Here are a few pics of Baby S at the studio today – and since it’s spring, I thought a little green was appropriate!

Not really zany but you know how it is during the holidays. Holiday pictures are serious business for everyone.

Well, almost everyone.

Most of the kids were all dressed up!

Even their toys were dressed up!

And then the party got reAlly serious.

This girl got really excited each time the register sprung open. It was hilarious!

There was even a show and everything in the end. These guys know how to party!

A fun time was had by all, and this photographer was rightly pooped at the end of it. Good times!

Baby B was my first Belly to Baby client, referred by my friend and doula extraordinaire Alyssa Morgan. Amazing mom Holly had a home birth and this little miracle was born. Just looking at her brings tears to my eyes because I feel so privileged to have photographed her three times now, and watch her grow. Makes me think three times is really not enough to record a baby’s life in a year because they do grow so quickly!
