I don’t do many seniors. In fact, I only photograph kids of friends and people I know. There are many reasons, one being that I am not comfortable with the direction senior photography is going. Maybe with time. For now, I am enjoying being exclusive with my seniors!

Here’s Tenaya, who’s been babysitting my girls for a few years. Her mom Sara and I are very good friends. Sara and I started a preschool together!

Was a pleasure, Tenaya! I am happy that you’ve decided to stick around for college, and look forward to hearing stories from your mom as she sends her first child into the great unknown. All my best!

I met Madison last year and her family. Such a talented young lady, who plays the piano and makes her own music.

I don’t take many Senior pictures because it’s not my specialty but once in a while, I find it refreshing to vary my palate a little.

This is a composite because Madison’s mom tells me she is very different when she is composing and playing her piano. Normally shy and reserved, Madison comes alive when she is making music. So different that sometimes she surprises herself.

This image was a fun composite to make and Madison totally made it work.

She plays the piano and looks like Gillian Anderson (to me). Such a confident young lady with a beautiful smile to boot!

There’s just something about kids who are into music. They automatically seem more confident, more secure, more interesting. Madison even loves the same music and TV shows I do, like The Weepies and The Office. Love it when subject and photographer connect instantly!

Brayden is the family’s first boy to go to college next year, so mom Ramona in a bittersweet moment, engaged me to take his Senior pictures. A reluctant Brayden relented and we ended up with some absolutely sweet shots.

Brayden is also a budding geologist!

So yea, Craig is pretty cool
