There’s nothing so precious – and as chaotic – as the arrival of a newborn.

Suddenly, one’s life is upturned into a cacophony of naps, diaper changes and feeds, interspersed with moments of disbelief and tears of how one got to be so lucky as to have ended up with life’s most awesome miracle such as this beautiful baby sleeping soundly in your arms.

Surprise, surprise: You’re a parent.

I decided on a whim to shoot some clips of the details today instead of stills. This is my first attempt and I’d forgotten my tripod so forgive me for the jerky footage.
